How to add to faction?

Thanks for that pretty awesome list of codes, super helpful! And yeah, I wanted to mention as well that through a bit of trial & error I'd discovered that the code for adding your PC to factions is:
player.addtofaction (faction ID here without the parenthesis) 1
If you decide that you want to remove your PC from said faction later then the command is:
player.removefromfaction (faction ID here)
Just FYI to help out anyone else who's still working on figuring it out. I hadn't figured out/tried adding any NPC's/Followers to factions yet, but I'll give out the "addtofaction" command that you recommended, Predator, thanks. :) I'm assuming that you must have the NPC or Follower selected with the console (aka open up the console & click on them) before typing in:
addtofaction (faction ID) 1
in order for it to work for them as well...like I mentioned, I'll try it out in my game & see how it works.

Also, this is slightly unrelated, but on a similar note: If there is an NPC or follower that you would like to marry but they aren't available as a marriage candidate by the vanilla parameters of the game if you open up the console & select the NPC/Follower that you'd like to marry then type:
addfac 5c84d 1
press enter
then (with the NPC/Follower still selected) type:
setrelationshiprank (Put NPC/Follower's RefID here NOT their BaseID, without parenthesis, obviously) 4
press enter then type:
player.setrelationshiprank (NPC/Follower you want to marry's ID) 4
& press enter again & they should become available to marry!
(Keep in mind that you'll still have to go to the Temple of Mara in Riften & buy an Amulet of Mara from Maramal after talking to him about marriage & whatnot before it'll work though). For some reason that one amulet that Maramal gives you is, apparently, blessed by Mara or something lol 'cause no one will ever be interested in marrying you unless you've talked to him & gotten an amulet from him first. Don't know why, that's just the way it works. *shrug* Also please keep in mind that just because you can command console basically anyone into marrying you there may not be marriage dialogue available in their voice type (especially if they have a unique voice i.e. Cicero, Serana, Nazir, etc.). There are marriage mods available that can add dialogue for a lot of voice types (I'd recommend Vanilla Voice Expansion [VVE], formerly known as More Follower Voices Plus Khajiit Marriage [aka MFVM]), that adds extra dialogue including marriage dialogue for most voice types. If you want to have voiced marriage dialogue for people with unique voices I know for sure that there's a "Marriable Serana" mod that apparently has voiced marriage dialogue (I have it but have yet to actually get around to marrying her to try it out). There's also a Cicero marriage mod floating around with voiced marriage dialogue (which I also have but haven't been able to to test yet, my wife has it as well though & it works great for her). But yeah, wanted to share that as a "adding someone to the marriage faction" type of thing since we're on the topic of adding factions. It took me a while before I learned how to do that so I figured I'd share the knowledge in case anyone else wanted to know. :)
