Play as NPC character model?

Not sure whether there is a mod or console command for this, but would it be possible to change my character model to that of an npc? Specifically i want to play as the Alien model, however i'm not sure if this is possible or not.

To play anything other than a "vanilla" character requires you to use a "custom race" mod. You would have to see if anyone has published an "Alien" race mod. There is a "Hair and Face Models" section of the Nexus, but don't forget to check the "Default" category as well. A quick search on "Alien race" turned up one mod: "Geonox Alien Hybrid Race" by Geonox.

 

Please see the 'Issue: Body Replacer - Custom Body Types' and related 'Body Replacer -' entries in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. The whole matter of playing a "custom race" has a number of issues you have to deal with. Be sure you want the hassle.

That hybrid mod Dubious pointed out is pretty cool, I've used it before. If you're set on full alien, there's a costume mod out there somewhere that has zeta aliens too.
