Suucat Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Hello all, i don't know if this has been posted yet, and if this is the right place to do so, i found a couple of bugs involving a couple of quests, a Misc. quest where you need to go find some book "The Old Ways" and the quest where you need to clear the Halted Stream Camp for Farkas. I travel a lot and explore a lot, i just love to explore in RPGs, so in my many travels i just found that book and cleared that camp before getting the quest to do so, so when i get the quest to find the book and clear the camp nothing happens. I have the book in my possession, cannot get rid of it, the quest takes me to some far away camp (already found it), points me to some chest, but it's empty because i already have the book, but cannot continue the quest, as for the camp (the one where you find the Transmute spell book) i cleared the first time no problem, then Farkas tells me that i need to kill some bandit there, i was like... uh i already killed him, ok, i went to the camp again, the bandit leader was there again (...?) i killed him again... i go back to Farkas and he doesn't tells me anything about it, now the quest is incomplete in my log. Many, many sidequests will remain glitched if you retrieve the object or kill the person before you get the quest. Frankly, if you can finish the game without a dozen unfinished quests you are doing pretty good. You will have to use the console to "fix" the quests. If you are on PC.
