Gaerzi
I'd suggest waiting for the next release of MO2. Or Vortex.
vhascome2
That's what I'm doing :D, I did use MO2 but found it quite unstable so I switch to NMM for the moment while waiting for Vortex Thanks for your reply ^^
Posija
That's what I'm doing :D, I did use MO2 but found it quite unstable so I switch to NMM for the moment while waiting for Vortex Thanks for your reply ^^I'm not an experienced modder and my requirements are simple so i'm using SKSE 64 bit and NMM (this video got me started: ) I did have to download slightly newer version of NMM than is listed in Nexusmods download page to make it recognize SKSE 64 bit exe (https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases) I am only using 18 mods though, each covering very different area so minimal conflicts. Just the essencials imo (patches, mods for added spells, immersive citizens, skyui) SKSE 64, SkyUI, Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, Cutting Room Floor, Better Dialogue Controls, Better MessageBox Controls, Achievement Mods Enabler, moreHUD, Acquisitive Soul Gems, Pick Up Books, Immersive Armors, Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul, SE Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim, Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim, Aurora - Standing Stones of Skyrim, Imperious - Races of Skyrim, Dawnguard no Vampire Attacks, SSE Diverse Dragons Collection, SE Alternate Start - Live Another Life Used BethINI to tweak my ini files, running smooth as butter - i'm really positively surprised by 64 bit skyrim capability of taking advantage of the hardware. Performance is night and day compared to vanilla modded skyrim (granted i had a lot more mods enabled there). rms827
Right now I'm using NMM also and waiting for Vortex. Back in OldRim days (a whole year ago, LOL), I used MO exclusively. My understanding (right or wrong) is that MO2 is pretty unstable, and for whatever reasons, MO doesn't work with SE. At least not without some major jury rigging. As much as I'm a fon of MO with OldRIm, the newer versions of NMM have virtual installs also to avoid overwriting core game files, and multiple profiles also. Vactrol
MO or NMM? why not both?Mod Organizer v 2.0.8.3 here with over 200 mods and 170 esp. No troubles, Skyrim SE don't crash less or more than before. Using multiple profile (for game character and mod testing). Used with SKSE too, but I went back to Skyrim SE v 1.4 - for mod compatibility purpose. Was running fine with SKSE too.Tried NMM but I prefer the way MO work. I'm an organizer noob and found MO easier than NMM or WryeBash. Cheers

Cheers Okay , Now I'm using them both.tbh I prefer MO when it comes to the way it organizes the mods The problem is MO is working but I do have errors when I quit skyrim (failed to write log to /path/to/mo_interface.log: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.) and the whole system stops working so I need to restart. when installing a mod with a options like RWT or EBT ,Example:02:17:51 [W] Plugin "Enhanced Blood Textures Main" is the only plugin specified in group "Main Plugin" which requires selection of exactly one plugin02:17:51 [W] libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile02:18:06 [C] failed to extract 4 texture res and color\hi-darker\Textures\effects to effects: effects not found in archive 200 mods with no crash is good, I'm wondering tho how did u install MO2 ? did you follow a guide or something ? and btw what did you choose after installation a "new instance" or "portable version" ? Thanks Hello, and sorry for the late answer. I installed a new instance and just followed the installer instructions. I have seen a lot of comment on how MO is hard to configure and was afraid to try it, as I know nearly nothing about modding. It worked at the first try. I run Skyrim version 1.4without SKSE, but have tried with SKSE. MO always crash when exiting with SKSE and give those error messages. It's annoying but a minor trouble. I spent some time to understand the profile system, and use now two main profiles: one with all mods for gaming with my Red Sonja character, and one for test purpose with only the tested mod. The game save made in a profile aren't charged with other profile. When creating a new character, I duplicate the Red Sonja profile (uncheck "local saves" but keep "game settings")), rename it with the name of the new "hero" and maybe activate/deactivate some mods for this "hero". When creating a mod, I often open the mod folder from the MO list, and change just the .esp or a texture/nif folder without re-installing the mod. After a short use of NMM, I found MO more convenient for my need. Edit: I forgot.... Everybody know that the .esp order is very important. In MO, the mod list order is VERY IMPORTANT too. When you have multiple texture/content mods, the lower overwrite the higher. If the texture/content is NOT in a .bsa but in a folder, you can just delete part of the folder and have the best of multiple mods. If you delete the wrong content, just right-click on the mod in the list and re-install. Edited December 14, 2017 by Vactrol
