Need serious help with Looks Menu and facial textures

This is a serious question and I hope someone answers because I'm getting tired of uninstalling and installing my game just to reset the face. Whenever I use something like Oni textures or Valkyr, my character loses her eyebrows and the skin tone is changed and will not correct. Am I not loading things right or what? This is like the 7th or 8th time I've had to uninstall and re-install my game just to reset the face. Also having trouble using Looks Menu presets. The facial construction mod works, but I can't get face presets to work. Guys, I'm really serious. I need help with this.

if i remember correct, valkyr and oni face textures aren't compatible with each other so you can only use one or the other, not both. but from the sound of things, seems like you're getting the brown face bug? that will happen if you're using the high res DLC or a 2k face texture mod without a fix for it.

 

go to the Looks Menu Customization Compendium page and download one of the optional files- either the HD DLC fix if you have the HD DLC, or the 2k face texture file.

I've got the HD DLC fix downloaded. I'm still waiting for my game to re-install then I'll try it. I never tried to use both at once, but when I did try to use Oni like a lot of presets call for, my character always loses her eyebrows. So I delete everything and uninstall and re-install the game. I'd love to use some of the presets put up here, but they always screw up on me. I'm a 60 year old gamer and some of this stuff is beyond me, but I keep pluggin away at it. Soon as my game finishes re-installing, I'll try again. Thanks for the tip.
