My settlements have no borders

Ok, I've got a serious problem with my settlements right now.

 

I had to reinstall the game after a patch got botched and I not only failed to install the patch, but ended up losing the entire game along with it. Thankfully I kept my save files, though, but I still had to re-download my mods.

 

Well, ever since then, my settlements haven't had any borders. Oh, the borders are there. I see the green walls that are supposed to be the borders. But moving beyond those borders doesn't do anything. I'm still in settlement mode and I can even place items outside the borders with no problems.

... about NPCs sandboxing all over the game map, I also have the problem of my scrapping affecting nearby settlements. I prefer to use the "scrapall" console command to make my scrapping quicker. But if I use scrapall at Abernathy Farm, I actually will scrap a portion of my Red Rocket Truck Stop settlement and I have to rebuild it all over again!

From your list, my favorite problem-maker would be scrap everything. Its causing all sorts of problems, because it messes with the engine on a basic level.

I think this is the main problem

NoBuildLimits.esp ,

"Completely removes all height and boundary limits on settlements."

"The Green boundary wall will still look like normal but you will be able to build past it."

This should be your problem as it totally removes Settlement boundaries

One other thing I noticed in your mod list is that you have all of these Scrap Everything esp's,

The problem that i see is that Scrap Everything Ultimate is all the esp's combined in one .

It is Core ,Automatron ,Far Harbor ,Nuka World ,Vault Tec Workshop, all in one ,

so you should only have Ultimate by Itself without all the other esp,s

If you run LOOT to check it will tell you the same thing .

Below is the direct quote from the Scrap Everything Nexus page

"Can do any combination of DLC. Install using NMM (has a FOMOD) (contains "Ultimate Edition", which is just all the plugins combined into one)"

This is probably not directly causing your problem, but I don't think it is helping .
