Senturian
I had a recent issue, where I accidentally removed the startup path for nexus, I fixed that by deleting the user.info file I think it was, and that fixed that. Im not having a new problem where I start NMM and cannot activate any mods, and all my mods are somehow deactivated. If I start the game though, they are all active except the ones that werent before the problem. If I start the game via steam, and not Nexus, it works normal, mods are working. Im too afraid to start from NMM incase they stop functioning. When I started Nexus today(when the problem first appeared) It asked me for the directory of which the mods would be found, I had to change it from drive D: to drive C: which is where all the mods are located. All mods De-Activatedhttps://gyazo.com/d162b442c66be1527272ce4ce290ae94 The Plugins, mostly all activehttps://gyazo.com/c30a3ae71736d6462fdf6914bda7746f If any extra detail is required for a solution, please let me know and I will do my best to give it. If anybody has any solutions to this problem, it would be much appreciated.
Grospolina
Did you move your Skyrim folder or NMM folder to another drive? This would break all of the hard links and make an extra copy of all your mods in the Skyrim folder. In other words, the mods in your VirtualInstall folder would be separate copies from the mods in your Skyrim folder (they are normally linked). That would explain why the mods still work. However, since the links are gone, NMM thinks they are deactivated. Is your NMM VirtualInstall folder on the same drive as your Skyrim folder? It must be on the same drive in order for links to work. If you move the VirtualInstall folder, then you have to let NMM know by clicking on the Tools icon and selecting "Change Virtual folders". Also make sure that the Mods and Install Info folders are correct by clicking on the Settings icon and going to the Skyrim tab. Assuming that you did move something, you would then have to delete the mods from your Skyrim folder (since they are now separate copies) and then reactivate them through NMM (which recreates the links).
