mightmagix
Dear modders! Requesting a fix for Liara casual by PoophairJones DLC Version NOT necklace. I have no solid answer for not using the necklace version, as it is just my preference. Here is the breakdown I hope any of you can provide: A.) Neck seam fix for Liara casual by PoophairJones DLC Version.B.) Compatible with Liara Complexion Tweak by Ellise.C.) [Optional] hr texture for her outfit If possible. I will use vanilla/ sweetfx - low contrast, high contrast, vibrant, cinematic incase modders have no time to test her neck seam in-game. Please note that I have no intention to re-post/ claim this from the volunteer/ original creator of this project just for the sake of popularity once it is finished. I leave those for the creators. This is just a request for personal use. I have been with Nexusmods since the birth of NWN2, DAO, ME1 and Skyrim and has always considered the modders my family because of their expertise and zero knowledge on my part. Here is hoping that someone can fix the neck seam out of that great outfit. Please spread the word for any of you or others who can help me. Aside from that, let me know If there is a diy workaround for the neck seam. I will see how challenging it gets. Cheers. rubydorje
Hello Mighity,Look Iâve given a go and so I did some work on Liaraâs head mesh... as good as it can get in a reasonable time spent on it... could be a tiny bit better, but donât have more time at the moment... You can download the .upk file from my GoogleDrive. (link below). You can use Meshplorer of ME3Explorer and replace the head mesh of the .pcc files of the DLC with the .upk file.I havenât tried but you can surely install the Liara Complexion Tweak... perhaps Iâll have a lookat it next week. Good luck and Enjoy...https://drive.google.com/open?id=1QMyMIzAburqAO63QjF6BnKrXluHzMDCl
mightmagix
Thanks rubydorje. Its a huge improvement based on the images. I tested with fresh BIOGAME + DLC_CON_LIAC. However I replaced each Liara casual DLC .pcc in 'ASA_HED_PROBASE_MDL' but nothing changes. Which .pcc should I replace exactly? I used meshplorer not meshplorer2. rubydorje
Iâm at work right now, but quickly...I used the BioG_Liara_00_NC because that is the one for all casual apparence... BioG_Liara_00 is for all combat of default outfit...
mightmagix
I apologize. So far I have a hard time getting the head mesh to work. After restoring the DLC_CON_LIAC there is only 'BioH_Liara_00.pcc' and 'BioH_Liara_00_NC.pcc' along with several files except 'BioG' which is nowhere available. Then I replaced 'BioH_Liara_00_NC.pcc' with the .upk and the game crashed whenever Liara casual appeared. TOC updated, both base and DLC. The game works normally when I replaced 'BioH_Liara_00.pcc' only. Aside from that, I intend to play ME3 for a few walkthroughs so there is plenty of time for you to refine this project. I do hope that it is possible to eliminate the obvious neck seam.
rubydorje
Hello My Friend,Im sorry. my bad. I mistyped it. You are correct BioH_Liara_00_NC...Ive just done a bit of fixing on that head mesh. Have a look, same link to GoogleDrive. Unfortunately, I think, The head and body never be a perfect match. Ive also tried it out during the romance scene too. I think I cannot do more about it. Sorry.Just put the original DLC_CON_LIAC into the gameâs DLC folder and then with Meshplorer replace the head mesh, all 3 LODs (LOD0, LOD1, LOD2). You know you need to wait for the âdoneâ popup & then do the âsave pccâ. If you do not get the âdoneâ for a little while, just tap on the other meshes, thatâll speed up the process...So, if you only replace the mesh, it should work, the new mesh should appear and the textures should match it automatically... Good luck. Talk later.
mightmagix
Yes I noticed that the original DLC neck and body gap was uneven. Also thanks for the head mesh update. I may need another help again regarding Meshplorer. What I found was: LOD 1 F1, LOD 2 F2, LOD 3 F3 at menu bar. LOD models with 0,1,2 at the center window. So I open the .upk (Liara Head XX2) and Import LOD for each LOD 1 F1, LOD 2 F2, LOD 3 F3 and done popup. (I may have done this incorrectly) Yet still the same problem persist as the game crashed on any Liara casual appearance. Here's the link from my view. Further help would be appreciated. rubydorje
Hi. I view my emails on my iPhone and so the text are blurry in th screenshots.... in the evening Iâll have a look at it through my PC... anyway...you might have installed something else, somewhere already... just clear all that to see what happans then... I use ME3Explorer3...1- open it2- utilities3- meshplorer4- open up BioH_Liara_00_NC (either from the DLC or otherwise) (if you only replace the mesh in the DLC it should work) (you can just add OFF in front of the dlc if you want to disable it: offDLV_CON_LIAC, this way you can see whether it/or what takes effect)âthenâ1- tap on LOD (LOD0,LOD1,LOD2) just to see or select2- Click on "Transfer" in top menu, next to LOD3- choose Liara_Head_XX2.upk4- tap on it's name in the left window, 5- LOD 0 will appear in the right window. tap on that,6- then "Import LOD" in the top menu. )7- wait for the Done popup 8- repeat for (other LOD) 9- save .pcc It should work... mightmagix
Thank you rubydorje. Finally got it working. I must say the seam fix improves a lot. Just had some weird gap with certain animations. Overall it is satisfying. But there is always room for improvements. Anyone interested in this project is always welcome.
