Ice Creation Issue

OMG you are the best person ever!

actually, i completely agree with you on the idea that it should only effect the criminal/player! As a matter of fact, once someone figured out how to make it work just for when the player is in trouble, i was going to spell chain it a little, so that the first spell could be a paralysis, and then a long, slow, damage spell. Is that what you did in the second one? I am so bad i cant even really tell! thanks so much for this! It really helps unbelievably, with the mod and my sanity!!! THANKS!

The second script hits them with paralysis for only a frame (no resist). This is so that they're stopped and helpless, but can still get back up before the next pulse if they're lucky. It has a lasting effect of drained sneak skill, and silence so that they aren't as able to fight or hide, with the duration based on whatever you set it at. Having the script add an ability (remove it at scripteffectfinish)or a disease (which would have to be removed normally) might be a better way of doing things.

ok issue

i put it into the game, with the object script attached to the stone, and, while it did not attack me immediately, it did not attack me at all, even after i attacked the guard. Also, i applied the script effect to a spell so that that would be the effect instead of the damage, and seeing as i am not quite sure of what that does, i am unsure of whether or not that may have affected the overall result. I personally didnt find anything wrong aside from actor being spelt "sctor" which is just a typo. I dont know...is there a way to make this easier, like applying it to the world space (or individual interiors or in interiors/exteriors by means of putting it on an object) (without having it cast the spell?) (sort of enchantment-like, but not really?) that would paralyze the player and call the guards whenever the bounty got above a certain point?
