CTD in Windhelm

Wanted to see if anyone could help with my CTD issue, other than a full clean install of skyrim se im at a loss, i started a new save with a mod list ive used in the past and after over 2 hours playing i went to windhelm and upon pressing the door i get a 30 second load screen then crash, but its only windhelm, ive gone around the map and even tried other cities but its just windhelm. i thought maybe corrupted save, but new games are the same. even removed files that are relevant to windhelm and started a new game for each i removed and still got the crash. any help would be appreciated.

I had the exact same problem today.

For me it was one of the texture mods, the first version of Tamriel Reloded.

If you are using Mod Organizer, then in the left window disable all the texture mods that could affect Windhelm and then try to go to Windhelm.

If you're not using MO, then go to Skyrim/Data folder, I think meshes and textures folders should be there, under those two folders find architecture/windhelm folders and move them to some other temporary location.

If that doesnt help, then the problem is somewhere else.
