ChromeWarriorXIII Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 I was hoping someone could make Glass Armor where the greenish "glass" is actually more transparent. I've seen a variety of mods that changed the armor but they were mostly recolors, or skimpy armors. I tried doing this myself by editing the textures. It kind of worked, in that the parts I wanted to be transparent were now transparent. But you could see right through those spots and there was no body underneath, so you just saw the other side of the armor. I would assume that this would require some form of editing the meshes for the armor. Is it possible to make this while still being able to see the body underneath? If not, then that's fine, I can live with the vanilla armor. It just didn't make sense to my that the Glass Armor was not actually see through like glass. Nephenee13 Posted March 16, 2012 Share Posted March 16, 2012 I'd guess that there is no body beneath the mesh, you will probably need to replace the entire body portion of the mesh to have it be transparent properly, assuming Skyrim clothing works more-or-less how Oblivion's does. If you look at one of the screenshots of the leg you can see right through to the other side. Other than that problem, that mod is pretty much exactly what I want to see.
