Baddtraxx
Heyoo,I have a really mean bug or problem. Okay so because of performance I moved my Fallout 4 folder on my hybrid hdd/ssd. Together with the creation kit.Obviously I wasnt able to regulary start it again so I had to reinstall, backed up the important files before. After that the creation kit kept on crashing after start. It did load and once the UI appears, all crashes with the typical windows 10 "found a problem and had to be stopped" yadda yadda error message. My game is updated to the most recent version, same with all the F4SE stuff.I need the creation kit to work on my stuff, so it would be gratefully helpful if someone knows why that happens.in best hopes,Baddtraxx
Slostenn
Do you have an ENB preset installed? Trying to open the Creation Kit with my ENB enabled has always caused an instant CTD. Usually I just rename the two .dll files that ENB uses to inject itself whenever I need to use the CK. It sounds like this is caused by the recent move rather than an ENB, but I thought I'd share that just in case.
Baddtraxx
I'm gonna s#*!...Okay here goes:I checked if its enb, still crashed. Then I saw I still have a ReShade .dll + log in the folder DESPITE I removed/uninstalled all. of the ReShade I once used.I removed that. and it worked. Thanks though, you nudged me in the right direction.-Thread can be closed, or archived or so. Maybe others have the same problem with dead files.
Baddtraxx
Afterentry to this: It was not just ReShade but after I installed a performance booster mod using the "dxgi.dll" it crashed again. Just renaming or moving that one out of the folder helped.Making this after-post so if anyone encountering the same or similar problem may find out why.
