In-game paper notes are unreadably small

I can't seem to find any information on this but I have a very annoying problem that the in-game notes appear way too small. I have a 21:9 (2560x1080) monitor and have installed Truby9 with HUDFramework comparability. The in-game UI works great, except when I select a note to read on my pip-boy it's, well, tiny. I had uninstalled the High Resolutions DLC to fix the black face issue; tried re-installing to see if the note's mesh was at too small a resolution, but it still appears small. I've also tried tweaking the FOV but, while it changes the pip-boy's size, it has no effect on note size. It's driving me nuts. Please. Does anyone know how to fix this?

OKAY finally found it. It was a known bug with truby9: Very small notes (unscaled display)

just remove both lines found in the TruBy9.ini located in your DATA folder. The creators update has broken this.

I guess i'll just leave this here in case anyone else was having the same trouble finding a solution.
