Tobias44142 Posted February 19, 2016 Share Posted February 19, 2016 I had this problem too. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Then I found the culprit. Borris's Anti CTD patch. Delete that d3d9.dll and enbpatch file. Never liked ENB. Always way to buggy for a game thats already well... Buggy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I found that the Skyrim Config MCM had a Depth of Field option that was turned on (and apparently overriding what I'd manually set in the INI file), and this was making it pitch black underwater, despite all the above tips.
