Quest "A Night to Remember" and Ysolda

In the quest a night to remember you have to talk to Ysolda about the ring she gave you at one point. She tells you about the story you told her about your fiancée and how it sounded like a fairytale come true and how she was excited to come to your wedding because of all the interesting people you said she would meet. But how weird is it if you are already married to her when you come to this point in the quest? Here you have your current wife, yes I play a female character and she married Ysolda (nice mod on nexus made her look waaaaaaaay better), and she is saying she's excited for your upcoming marriage. Can't help but wonder if she done submitted your divorce papers and you've yet to find out about it. This quest also takes her from whatever home you have her living in and puts her back in Whiterun where it's a pain to get her to return to your current player home. I used EFF to recruit her, fast traveled back to the house and dismissed her. That fixed it. But my point is, is this modifiable so that this bit of awkwardness can be avoided or is it outside the scope of possibility?

That is why you cant do things out of order in a way the game dose not expect in some games...like low level things after you are married. If it was an old ps2 pixel rpg it would not have been let out of the gate with such a glaring oversight..or even an old QFG type pc game.

Its the duty of an Dev and quest designer to account for such things.

Timing is was off in skyrim, but that is in part, due to the nature of the game. Skyrim is sort of a start with the base stuff and build your own game with mods type of thing...its like all the planing was half assed at best.

I wonder if oblivion was like this? I never played that one.
