Double Input with Controller

I'm not sure if someone's already posted about this problem, but I didn't have the patience to go through 1500+ pages of topics.

 

Basically I'm playing Skyrim Legendary Edition and using a PS4 controller.

 

Most of the controls are working, however whenever I attempt to select anything, the game acts as if I've pressed the "A" (X) button twice.

 

Now this gets HIGHLY annoying when I'm trying to sell items, select a mission, mixing potions, smithing, grrrrr.

 

I've tried using Hybrid Controls, but that created a whole list of problems, which I reported under bugs on the mod page ... at this point I'd appreciate anything that allows me to play via a control pad and works properly.

EDIT: I've attempted changing the controls, it turns out that whatever is set to the X button will double input.
