SSE Edit beginner in need of cleaning assistance/clarification

Hi, so I am a total noob at SSE Edit. I have tried to clean my mod but stuff is still red and yellow. While some are green. I have no idea why. Reading what the different colors mean doesn't help me much because I'm thinking they should all be green. Can anyone help? I'm so confused

The FormID List and Quest is just the Caravans Quest and Formlist, I added my follower khajiit to that to make him follow the caravan.

I think my main question is; Should it look like this?

And unless I am colorblind, it looks like the text on the red ones is Olive, to which the STEP project page says:

Olive : Identical to master but conflict winner. This element is identical to its master, but override changes from other plugins not reffered to as master. This usually means that an ITM is preventing some changes from another plugin to be applied.

And the red field:

Red : Conflict. This element is present in at least three plugins, changes from lower-priority plugins aren't applied in game. The plugin which override changes don't refer overriden plugins as master. This is what most patches such as STEP Patches are solving.

Red doesn't mean it is bad - it simply means there are multiple mods making changes to the same record, and as long as the conflict winner is the one you want, you are good.

But sometimes this could be bad. For example, leveled list. Then you will need a bashed patch to make sure your vendors or loot don't have only the leveled list from the conflict winner.

And ITM is usually not a good thing. You should clean a mod if you suspect it has ITMs. But be sure you read the mod description because some mods shouldn't be cleaned or it stops working.

If you didn't intend to move or change any vanilla asset, but only want to add stuff, then you might want to take a look at those highlighted red items individually. (in face you should probably look at them all because you might have added things you didn't intend to.) If you are 100% sure you didn't want these changes but they are there anyway, they could have been wild edits and you should remove those.

When you click on the red entry, you get a detailed view of what has been changed on the right pane. What does it say? Does it look like something you have intended but it is something from vanilla?, like things you moved or values you changed? If it is not a lot of them, could you put a screenshot up for those changes so we can know it is okay for sure?

Only thing that shows is Height Conflict, so it's the stuff triptherift told me about:

Red means a conflict, you just need to look and see what the conflict is. In this case, the conflict is caused by Bethesda's own DLCs adding height data. I just forward that stuff over and also any fixes from the Unofficial patch. It's super easy, as you can drag and drop sections in the right window pane.

But I never could figure out how to do it. So I guess I just forgot about it.

Your screenshot is missing the info of your mod. (on the right pane please scroll all the way to the right so we can see what your mod changed.)That's what we need to look at. But just by what is available, you have indeed modified a vanilla data (MHDT). You have also made changed in Riften.

Please expand the check boxes of the color-highlighted entries in your screenshots. (Your previous screenshots actually contained more info. It is not useful to give us minimum amount of information when it comes to troubleshooting.)

Oh, I never bother myself with the right pane, I thought the important stuff was on the left. Hence this thread :pinch:  I'll get right to it.

The left pane tells you what is changed and the right pane tells you how it changes it. When it comes to troubleshooting mod conflicts the info on the right pane is the most important ones.

Aw, shi- how could I miss that :pirate: Is it Skyrim.esm we need to compare it to or?

Edit: I'll get all of them. My mod and the OG Skyrim is empty while the dlc's have height data, like trip said.
