Modding Skyrim Vanilla With DLC

By delving into nexus mods list and other pages like /reddit i learned about mods but delving deeper i also learned that there is SKSE (just got Skyrim, so im new) and that there are mods for SKSE. MY question is, is it possible to install and use the mods for SKSE to original Skyrim?

I think you are confusing SKSE with Skyrim SE. SKSE stands for Skyrim Script Extender. It's an extension of the game capabilities, i.e. you can make mods more advanced than the original game permits. It's for original Skyrim.

I meant Skyrim Special Edition mods, sorry about the confusion.

Ah, okay. No, you can't download Skyrim Special Edition mods to Original Skyrim. You need to go to the page for that game to download mods.

I think we misunderstood each other. You don't need to buy Skyrim Special Edition to play with mods on pc. Both have access to mods =)
