UhuruNUru
Your problem is you're not using the correct command, as far as I can see.Witcher 3 is unusual in that console commands are case sensitive, and all the confirmed lists I've found use, small case for the instruction, which isn't one you say you tried.god Finding a reliable list of tested commands can be difficult, as many lists try to add everything without testing, and don't retest after patchingI'm not a prolific user of the console, and updating my Mods after a long gap in playing, but this list is linked from the current Debug Console ModWitcher 3: Debug Console Commands - MMO-Game.EUAlso no need to use a mod to enable Debug Console anymore, if you didn't knowFind this file in your game folderGeneral.Ini Manual Install[Path to Your Game]\bin\config\base\general.iniSteam..\Steam\SteamApps\Common\The Witcher 3\bin\config\base\general.ini GOG Galaxy..\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\general.iniOpen the file and add DBGConsoleOn=true, so the file contents match this [General] ConfigVersion=2 DBGConsoleOn=true Unfortunately, the key used varies with different keyboard layouts, it’s not the standard console Key most games use, which is to the left of the 1 key. You’ll have to figure out your specific keybring up the Debug Console using keyAmerican Keyboard: ~ (Tilde located Left of 1 key)British Keyboard: ‘ (Apostrophe @ Symbol is the shifted choice)

Kanealpha
Why are there so many possible god modes? i see i forgot some but i really tried everthing from GOD to god(3), wih th upper and lowercase letters and everything. Is there some indication that god mode is active? as i said, i can use spells as much as i want, no power or stamina drain, but i amstill vulnerable. addabl works, healme works, witchcraft works but other things like staminapony also don't work. I use a german Keyboard and the console opens with ö. Edited December 1, 2017 by Kanealpha
UhuruNUru
I'm not convinced there are that many actually, just because somebody lists something, and list completists copy every list they can find, into some supreme "master list", doesn't mean they actually work.Skyrim has a similar problem especially with Ini settings, even Bethesda default is full of settings from older games that just don't work, and that's just a fraction of untested user ones going around. Search for BethINI for fixing that game Ini's. The list I rely on (link in post above) only mentions three actually tested god modes.godgod2god3 They are Toggles, so using same command again should reverse the setting. As to why they exist, it's called developer console for a reason. All console commands are created to provide a dev with useful shortcuts, used in testing how the game works As to why so many suggestions get offered, the ones with spaces may "work", but just apply the basic god mode, with rest of the command being ignored, or just not work at all. Also, when using modded versions, the mods may also add extra codes. There are a couple of dev console extension mods that do that as well, and most users don't say exactly which mods they're using. This is what I understand these 3 tested settings do, and it seems reasonable, but it's not confirmed as correct, and I've never used them.god = Infinite Health, and Staminagod2 = Finite Health - Infinite Staminagod3 = Infinite Health - Finite Stamina Finally, I'll quote this from the guide, as it's the most important point it makes. All commands here are tested and work. If you encounter an error check character case, brackets, space, comma, dash and quotation marks. Some commands require you to target an NPC or do work differently as you think. Some of these commands will alter your game, e.g. if you enable all MapPins this can't be undone. Several items that you can pick up can't be dropped, other commands may overwrite your current gear. A teleport may lead you to unsafe areas.Handle these commands with care and always SAVE THE GAME before playing around with these commands. That's about it, always remember these commands are not designed for the user, CDPR devs were using them with an unfinished game, and they aren't bug tested for the finished game. So always make that rollback save, and be prepared to use it.
plasma24
I too have failed to get god mode to work. However, I am playing as Ciri in a canned fight between her and a hoard of drowners and wild hunt animals inside Crookback Bog. The cut scene begins with Ciri inside the crone hut about to have her feet eaten, and ends with Ciri standing outside of the Crone hut surrounded by almost a dozen enemies they sent. There are at least 10 of them and they all swarm toward her. Playing as Ciri, I try hard to stay ahead of them, blinking away every few seconds, swiping at one of them with a sword hit, then blinking away again ... over and over. Every time I get hit by one of the drowners, my vitality drops 30%. I try to circle around them with blink to allow some recovery of vitality but they attack me wherever I am. Eventually, after at least 2 exhausting minutes of this, I get hit one last time and die. I lowered difficulty to "just the story", to no avail. I keep dying (at least 20 times now). I activated the console and typed "god", "god()", "healme", "killall" ... nothing works. I am stuck getting my butt beaten ... every time. My vitality is unaffected by the console. Does the console work when a cut scene drops Ciri into a fight? If so, what am I doing wrong? If not, how the hell am I going to get past this? I've tried at least 20 times already. Revanwitcher
Plasma24I've found that console commands like God and healer don't work when playing as Ciri, at least as far as I know, there might be some way, but if there is, I don't know it
