Ok so whenever i go into the oblivion gete in kvatch, everything is fine, but once i grab the sigil stone, then i no dont teleport out like im supposed to, instead my screen goes completely white unless im against a wall and the game crashes if i try to leave.

Any ideas?

Did you load a save from inside the gate. Try using "closecurrentobliviongate" in console. It could be related to other issues if you happen to have mods which affect the area around kvatch, have hardware that is less than a 512mb ram on your videocard, 2gb ram system memory, 2ghz, or are running Vista.

ok well my hardware by far surpasses all theat and im on xp..and its worked b4 so thats why i was under the assumption that it is probably mod related. i dont have any kvatch area altering mods but ill try the close gate thing.

Alright, so i tried it and it eventually worked! so thank you very much Vagrant0!

If you get that again, leave the sigil stone room via any exit, wait 3 days, allowing 20 second gap between each new days wait, then return. A random new sigil stone will be chosen that should work.
