StankyDoge
https://imgur.com/gallery/hCFZz So that's what I got so far. I'm not a coder, that's not my thing. I've been scouring the forums, reddit and some other sources to find out as much as I can about this. Excuse me if this doesn't make sense, but... so far what I've got is some stuff about idle anims and such which I don't understand, powerarmorHUD / g_powerarmorHUD nodes, and the issue of "so we know how to get the thing to actually display; simply add the PA perk (0001f8a9) and now you have a PA UI!'. The issue is, it doesn't display. Well, I figured that out by smashing my head into a wall for a good hour. I added the PADashPipboyScreen.nif to the Camera node of the first person Skeleton.nif. Above is what I got. So it seems to display, I can control it. I got it to actually get on screen by editing the axis of the screen mesh in nifskope and simply placing it in front of where the camera is. Oddly enough when I click around it only rotates the selected inventory item regardless of where my mouse goes (I've clicked everywhere), so I imagine there's something else to getting mouse controls to work, but as it is right now it technically works. So obviously my question/request now is... Can the blur be removed? Can it be stretched to fit the screen? Can mouse control be enabled so that clicking is accurate? I think that may have something to do more with the .swf or something else, but I know practically nothing here. Optionally, can a script be tied into a mod for this that auto-removes the pipboy entirely *and* automatically adds the respective perk to the player when installed? shwowsh
The blur can be fixed by editing the pip boy imagespace modifier, I think â you uncheck the DOF. When i tried to add the PA screen to the first person skeleton, its a big white screen in game that becomes the regular PA hud when you activate the pip boy. How did you get it to show up properly and not be a big white box? I just copied the NiNode from the PA pip boy hud nif, but maybe thereâs a different way to do it? Greg33615
How did you do this stuff? I am trying to achieve the same thing, I've also been smashing my head into things all over the house. I'd hugely appreciate it if maybe one of you could contact me on Discord and help me out cause I barely started on Fallout 4 modding and this is doing my head in. my ID is ropi#3306.Thanks.
