I just made my first follower and I'm fairly proud of him so I would like to upload him to the Nexus but it wont allow me to use esp files. My question is how do I turn a esp file into a 7z file? I already Have 7zip downloaded on my computer and I would like to use that unless someone tells me it wont work or there's something easier I could do. This is my very first time doing anything like this and I cant really find any good tutorials, the nexus tutorials didn't cover what I'm trying to figure out.

7Z and winrar are commonly used to upload. Just put your .esp and any assets (bsa or loose files) into a 7z file, and upload that. It's a good idea to give it a version number, when you name it, in case you update later. That way, you won't have your versions overwriting each other.

I don't use 7Z personally, but with winrar, it's as easy as highlighting my .esp and my two .bsas, right-click, winrar, add to archive, and then give the archive a name. Loose files are a bit more pesky, as I have to add the .esp first, then go find each loose folder, adding them separately.
