TDUB0409
There was a mod called Equip-able Maps on Oldrim that created physical copies of the in-game maps. You could only craft them, and they had to be used as shields to view them. I think it would be much more interesting to use the assets from Duncanlarsen1's Paper World Map Addons to create buyable/lootable maps than can be read as books. Duncan gives full permission to use his assets Without his permission, but it would still be nice to ask him anyway. He's created some great maps for mods like Bruma, the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal, etc. I think it would be pretty fun to travel to all of those places and collect the maps from around the world. It would give a good, script-free alternative to using mods which affect the actual world map, as they tend to have a lot of unanticipated side effects. And even if you didn't want to use them, you could use them as collectible decorations for the player homes. Some other good resources for the mod would be HQ Skyrim Map V2, Equip-able Maps, and HQ Paper.
