Creation kit question, create custom store

Hey guys,

 

I'm new to the creation kit, so I still have question about it.

 

I'm creating a weapon store, so I use the furniture WorkshopStoreWeapon (the marker model who lean on the wall), and I replace the model by the welcome mat. The store is linked to the workshop with the Linked Ref WorkshopItemKeyword and WorkshopLinkContainer. But once ingame, I can assign a settler to the new shop (I have the message: The ressource is now assign), but he doesn't mind about his job, and the mat remain unassign...

 

Wich step have I missed ?

Seems no one else replied I'll take a stab. Did you check if there is a package you must assign to the actor? Maybe cos it's anew instance you need to program that in. I've never had to touch this area of the game yet, but that's my guess for you.

Thanks for your answer. Actually it's a bit better now, I can assign the settler, he take the pose and start trading. I don't know what happend, but it works. I've no package to assign because I don't create any actor, I'm using ingame settler.

 

My new issue is: why a weapon vendor is selling clothes...I've checked the properties: doesn't see to work because the number you enter should edit the type of vendor...sounds good, but I can't find the weapons number, and different number have the same job.

Not sure about that one sorry. I experienced a bug with food sellers becoming general traders in Better Cooking Stations mod, but never got around to fixing it.

Hmmm, my problem is nearly the same... i duplicated original Workshopbar01, replaced the model, placed it in my settlement with the ck, tried many references including Workshopitemkeyword and WorkshopLinkedContainer...but at the end I still cant assign a settler in the ingame Workshop mode :sad:
