Mods Not Showing Up In Game?

Hi..! This is my first time posting on a forum like this, but I'm a little desperate!

 

I purchased Skyrim Special Edition off Steam and have been wanting to mod it. I've followed several guides on how to do this and have used the Nexus Mod Manager, everything looks fine; I haven't installed regular Skyrim mods mistakenly and all my mods are active-The load order is fine.

 

But when I open Skyrim, no mods appear in game. I scroll to Mods to look at the load order/active mods, but there are apparently none.

 

Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Try looking in your data folder to see if the mods appear there. Also, go in to Mod Manager and be sure that you have a green check beside all the mods confirming that they are active. Once you download the mods from MM, you also have to then make the mods active.

The "MODS" in the menu have nothing to do with Nexus Mods. Those are from Bethesda....don't use those....

I've had the same issue & all mine are ticked, same drive and everything. It just doesnt appear in game though.
