Weeeeird texture/LOD? Issue - GOING BONKERS!

Try EnableCompression=true. It can save you some RAM.

Assuming you're on Windows 10, you can find the Fall Creators Update in Windows Update. It fixes the DirectX 9 4GB limit bug. Otherwise, the max you can set VideoMemorySizeMb to is 4064. Did you run VRamSizeTest (VRamSizeDX9.exe - DirectX 9 version)? If it gives you a number higher than 4064 then you have the update already.

Another way of checking is to go to the search bar in Windows and type "About". Select "About your PC". Under "Windows specifications", there's a version number. Version 1709 is the Fall Creators Update.

So.... okay. Don't have time to go through and REALLY test right now, but so far I think the compression is working. Every time I went fast traveled to Windhelm I'd have huge problems right on Candlehearth, and a big blue mass above the ground. Now, none of that at all. :)

One small pixelation on the floor there issue, but with the rest gone I don't even mind that. Haha. Posting a pic of that, just so you see what I mean.

Can't see it very well in the pic, but all the stuff around the PC's feet pixelizes and flickers a lot. Again, this is minor compared to the LOD thing, though.

Okay. I'm officially going ba-nay-nays. I cannot figure out why nothing is fixing it. Crash Fixes didn't work either, with or without the memory patch.

Grospolina, would you maybe be interested in Steam or Discord chatting about this? I really appreciate all your help. You have no idea how frustrating this is.

You can find me through my email: [email protected] , my Discord is Richie#2460 and my Steam account name is Richiekrayssteamaccount but I believe you can search me as "Richie - just Richie" (without quotes, obviously).
