Grospolina
Sure, but I'm pretty much out of ideas. I did post to this thread on Reddit. I'm O-Deka-K there. I even linked this thread. The OP there did claim to have fixed it, and it was essentially by resetting their Skyrim.ini/SkyrimPrefs.ini files. Have you tried that?Delete (and back up) Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in Documents\My Games\Skyrim. Run SkyrimLauncher.exe to generate new INI files. If you're using MO, make a copy of your current profile. Copy the INIs into this profile. Start the game.
PaulMcGann
I'll try that. Though my uGridstoload is at 7, and every time I try to set it back to 5, I CTD at save loading, so I dunno if it'll work.
PaulMcGann
Okay. So after putting uGridstoload back to 7, this SEEMS to have worked. I haven't had time to extensively test it yet, but so far, so good (though I've lost roughly 6 frames per second in the exchange, but I can deal with that if I'm not getting big old LOD on top of everything every few minutes or turning it off completely so there's no landscape). Also, I'll hit you up on Reddit. I originally read that when I first woke up (IE, before coffee), so I must have missed it.
Grospolina
Alright, that's good news! I just got the issue a little bit myself (very seldom), so I might just have to do that myself.
