Xizrah
So a couple hours ago, I downloaded a bunch of creature related mods to spice up my Skyrim save so far, cause I like horror stuff and creative entities. However, my first "sighting" of one of these creatures, specifically the one named Water Hag, wasn't there. At all. A name popped up, I could attack it but it wasn't attacking me, so I just used my Sanguine Rose and let good ol' Valkynaz take care of em. Thought it glitched out, keep exploring. Shortly after, I encountered Foglings. I can hear them also, and they can attack me such as I can attack them, but still can't seem them. Here's my mod list: Plugins To be specific, I downloaded all those Mihail's mod you can see and Beasts of Tamriel. They seem to be not working, as I haven't seen any of these beasts at all and I'll make the assumption that the other Mihail's monster won't load in as well. I will say that I installed Sea of Spirits before Beasts of Tamriel, which is made by the same person and in the description to "not use at all if Beasts of Tamriel is installed" which I decided on last minute so I uninstalled Sea of Spirits while Beasts of Tamriel was installing, just wanted to throw that out there. I also don't know what that "bashed patch" is. And, I was never sure if the Skyrim Script Extender worked for Special Edition, I'm assumed it didn't, but that could also be a problem. I'm not a very bright person.
5B4JWP10Z0
Hi, I am not sure if my words would be of any help but try removing the SkyTest Realistic Animals and predators mod. I had trouble with the mod and it caused CTD errors for me. I suspect there may be a conflict with the added monsters. Please note that I am not sure if that is the case. Don't forget to rebuild the Bashed Patch after removing SkyTests's mod! Good luck!

And what does "rebuilding the bashed patch" mean?
Xizrah
Ok so I followed your advice and rebuilt that bashed patch thing, and once it did that it deactivated icepenguinworldmapclassic.esp, BetterQuestObjectives.esp, BarenziahQuestMarkers.esp, BetterQuestObjectives-DBForevertoMisc.esp, Vivid Weathers - Extended Snow.esp, BetterQuestObjectives - BCS Patch.esp, which I didn't notice until I loaded the game and hit continue, as it warned me. So I exited and when to activate them again, and loaded the game, and textures are still missing. Also, after the rebuilding the bashed patch, it says this in Nexus Mod Manager: Records Changed: 118Masters: Skyrim.esm, Dragonbone.esm, Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp, Vivid WeathersSE.esp, Book Covers Skyrim.esp, mrbs-uniqueloot-se.esp, Rebalanced Level Lists.esp, Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp I have no clue what the hell I'm doing. Should I just uninstall them and disregard the creature mods? :l
5B4JWP10Z0
Hello, since I saw you are using a bashed patch I thought you knew what it does and how it works :D You can just disable the SkyTest creatures mod and rebuild the bashed patch. The purpose of the bashed patch is to make other mods compatible with each other. Please, note that the Bashed Patch is not a miracle mod and it can solve many problems but sometimes mods with dirty edits and conflicting meshes; scripts and what not can't be made to work together. You can rebuild the bashed patch by loading the Wrye Bash tool from the Nexus Mod Manager. I suppose you are using the edition from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837/ You launch the Wrye Bash Tool > find the bash mod entry > right-click it and choose Rebuild Patch > click OK > click Build Patch > allow the mod to disable other mods while the rebuild process is underway. You wait for the process to complete and ignore any errors (there may be some mods that might not be responding to Wrye bash edits), as far as I know there should not be any critical issues. Once the bash patch is rebuilt > click ok > then you enable the mods that were disabled by Wrye Bash. You can load your save again and see if tehre are issues with the creatures you are unable to see. IMPORTANT: always place the bashed patch last in your load order!P.S. Sorry for the delayed response! I had work to do and forgot to check on this thread! I would not recommend to save your game if Wrye bash has disabled other mods since the save might become broken. I quick tip: you can make save files manually by opening the console with the ` button on your keyboard that should be right above Tab in the top left corner. Open the console and type: save [a name for your save] (don't type the square brackets and use an interval after 'save') Edited December 12, 2017 by 5B4JWP10Z0
5B4JWP10Z0
You may consider writing to https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/1607183 and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/37834630 who created Mihail's Creatures and SkyTest Realistic Animals. You can asks them if they are willing to create patches for their mods which make them compatible. I should point out that in your case the missing models and textures for the creatures might be the result of other conflicts. Please, take into consideration that I am sharing my experience with SkyTest Realistic Animals and on the basis of that I am making assumptions about what is causing your problems. I am not a mod author and I consider myself to have somewhat advanced knowledge in how to mod my Skyrim and Skyrim SE. I hope that the mod authors whose products you are using might be willing to help you!
Xizrah
I appreciate the help man, but I figured it out. Apparently, all I needed to do was to uninstall and manually install actually. Opened the game, saw Foglings and Harvesters. BUT THEN I encountered another problem, not sure if you can help but what's the risk right? So lemme set up this scenario for you. I'm in the swamp near the Abandoned Shack, ready to fight some little shits. Healthbar pops up, and I see them, and kick some ass. But then I look across the water and see one scary lookin' son of a gun. A Harvester, Daedra enemy, and tough. So tough that I decided to chicken out and run. However, I noticed something that was well, obvious. Every time she shot her ice-like blast towards me, my game crashed. Every. Single. Time. So after looking up on this elsewhere, I made an SKSE.ini and did some DefaultHeap s#*!, cannot go into detail as I'm on my phone and it's 5am in the morning and I should be sleep. But after taking advice somewhere off Reddit, again cannot remember, something to do with memory, instead of it crashing after she only fired once, the creature fired 3 times before it crashed. There's an crash log I actually was able to enable thanks to the internet and I'll probably post it later on in the day, just not now. Thanks for sticking with me though, appreciate that. 5B4JWP10Z0
Hello, Xizrah, I am happy to hear that you managed to resolve the problems! I love Skyrim and love to add mods to my game that make it pleasing to the eyes and add new content. I am familiar with how frustrating it can be when you want to play a cool campaign mod and when you are unable to install a sexy mod for your girls :D Unfortunately, I have no experience with Mihail's Monsters and can't help you. On the other hand, I had similar experience with a pesky wizard near Whiterun - The Ritual Stones. Whenever I got close to the guy he would shoot an ice spear and summon a skeleton - a healthy reaction for an evil mage meeting my sorry bum. The problem was that his ice spear did not manage to reach me and the game crashed to desktop immediately (CTD error as many users call it) - every time! I am using 165 mods and it can be rather hard to find the culprit for the CTD. I ended up organizing all mods into categories - landscape, NPCs, scripted behavior, small items, new armor and weapons, etc. The point of this lengthily explanation is that I had to do a lot of organizing and testing mods individually until I discovered there were problems with the scripts for that particular area. I suspect the same may be valid for your case. You may want to try out the tips from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpGKrmASG5k. I did some cleaning and parted ways with the SkyTest Realistic Animals mod since it was causing the problems for me. I am not too big on enhancements to the wild life in Skyrim, but you may be fond of the mod and Mihail's Monsters enough to seek a solution. I would appreciate if you have the time and wish to keep me updated on your efforts to resolve the CTD. I am interested in the lore-friendly monsters created by mod authors and may add Mihail's work to my load order. P.S. I just found: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10874?tab=description it contains fixes for Mihail's mods. Have you tried it already? Xizrah
So I did the P.S. thing you found, so I download all the patches corresponding to which Monster's mod I got. I did my load order, so before I test the game again and watch the video, wanted to show you these:http://prntscr.com/hmofrshttp://prntscr.com/hmofxehttp://prntscr.com/hmog97http://prntscr.com/hmogfvAny of those sticking out to you? Edit: Ok so after downloading the patches that I want to try out first, but instead of helping, them seemingly.. didn't.I am once again not able to see the enemies, because once I loaded into the save where a Harvester was a couple feet away from me, it was gone. Then I fast-traveled a couple places and realized once again that I'm kinda back where I started, so I'm gonna try to install manually. Xizrah
Alright everything was seemingly going well with Beasts of Tamriel and Mihail Monsters and Animals, but then I came across THIS PROBLEM: http://prntscr.com/hmri9h And why it's such a problem is because I have no clue what it comes from. I've looked at the Beasts of Tamriel, saw nothing there called "Huorn Graht-oak." As well as the Mihail Monsters and Animals mods that I particularly downloaded, I saw nothing that corresponds with "Huorn Graht-oak." I know you can't solve all problems, but I just wanted to let you know because you're such a helpful individual. I also wanted to put that I searched my whole laptop for the 3 words by themselves once at a time, and nothing had ever shown up on each file search.
