Farques Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 One day while playing Oblivion, I thought "All the races seem...too alike". So then I went and changed: names, attributes, skill bonus, and abilities to make them all different. I did a test run in the mod and, everyone was silent. Then I knew what was the problem, because I changed the names of the races, they don't pick up the old sound files they had. So I'm asking, is there a way for them to use the vanilla sound files while keeping the changed names? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Maskar Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 (edited) Yes, doable but not recommended. You could unpack the voice files and install those in the correct folder (based on the mod name). Another possible option would be to create some dummy races with the old race names and link the voices to those races.
