MikeCobalt
Hey everybody, I'm trying to add a Light Template to a mod I'm working on but the "Ok" button is always Greyed out so the effect never sets. The Apply and Cancel buttons are lit but never the Ok button. I know this is a silly issue but after Googling, Youtube and my own stumbling around I'm just Gonna ask here. The single lights I've added to the cell all work I see their flickering in the CK and ingame just no way to lower the overall ambient light. thumbincubation
When you right-click > edit on the cell, the edit block opens, with its own list of cells along the left side. Move to the lighting tab and (I know this sounds silly) go to that new cell list, within the edit block, and click on some other cell, then back on the one you want to edit. That will usually make the OK button usable. I don't know why it's like this, but I have to do it, every time I want to edit the cell. It just seems to not recognize that it's editable until you select some other cell first.
MikeCobalt
:) *Amazing, Thanks. This really helps. Now my Mods are(seem) much better. This has helped a lot. Thanks again.
thumbincubation
You're welcome, and glad to hear it helps. That, and getting various lights around a room not to blink on and off, when I move, have been among my biggest hassles with CK.
MikeCobalt
I saw that too right after I used your "CK quirk fixer". I have several Lights around this cell but only a Couple of "Shadow Lights". I'm trying to put those 2 where they'll be noticed the most and the others just light and "Atmosphere Enhancers". thumbincubation
I have never had much success with shadows. Most I'll use now is one, in the fireplace. The rest of the candles and stuff, I use non-shadow, usually the alikr orange flicker light, and then I'll hold S and size the light down where it doesn't touch any other light. That's not an exact fix, but it's the best I've been able to do with trial and error.
