ophidianwithin
If I install a mod through the Steam Workshop, it works. If I get a nexus mod and download it into the same folder and extract it and everything, the mod doesn't work. I got Uruk-Hai weapons, and the weapons show up in the crafting menu but they're invisible. I tried to get Gandalf robes, didn't work. The mods are in the data folder, but they don't work! If there was a way I could get a nexus mod into the steam workshop, please tell me. I use Nexus mod manager and everything. Please help! :wallbash:
jet4571
If you have the DLC texture pack theres a setting you need to change in an ini file. I cant remember what it is since I dont use it. I am sure someone will know what it is.
SkjoldBjorn
Steam workshop always have packed .Bsa files and esm/esp with them. You probably only have the .esp in your data folder while the rest of the meshes and textures folders are not placed correctly. If the author packed the meshes and textures as .bsa it should be placed right in the data folder with the esp/esm. if not check the folder that followed your esp, see what the folder is named, sometimes the author will use standard Bethesda file paths like ...data\meshes\<modname> or ...data\textures\<modname> If you can't wrap your head around it, give me a link to the page and i will check it out. :)
