DaleFranklin
...and that is: 1) It doesn't show up on the list of settlements (therefore you can't assign anybody to it). Yes - I've activated the workbench -- and there are reported bugs of this nature. 2) Settlers do not come to the recruitment beacon. 3) More items need to be scrappable -- including more console scrapping (disable, markfordelete). Sometimes we can't build a dorm because of a lamp post, tree, etc. Since this problem (#1,#2) seems widespread, perhaps it might be good to have a pinned (or general notice) to settlement mod makers to "look at this" to fix this problem -- instead of so many people trying to fix the same problem. Kodiak412
One of the things you can do, especially at this stage of the game, is to find the mod authors that have created wonderful settlements and stick to them. There are a number of very talented settlement modders on the nexus and you will easily find them. Then look at the files that they posted and you will see they probably have a lot of settlement mods that they created. Read the comments sections of these mods and that will tell you a lot about the quality of the mod. Problems may always arise when they are first posted, but look at what the modder did. Did he/she answer comments and address real or perceived issues, or was there silence. Silence = bad. I have more settlement mods can I can count and each one works perfectly. Including the great Nuka Island for the Nuka World DLC. An area that is very short on settlement mods, but Nuka Island is fantastic. Good luck. speedynl
there is this thing that peeps confuse, lot of the so called modders bring a mod out under the name settlement, but in fact its just a player home/thingthere are only a few, well there where only a few good settlements modders but most are not active anymore lil tip when you click on the name of the modder you can see how many files he/she have uploaded(and check the comment section), then you can see if that 1 is a good modder, just don't dl everything with the name settlement in it Edited December 15, 2017 by speedynl
