Can't find Triss Merigold after telling her to relax.

So I had Triss Merigold as a companion, I set her to relax and she walked off and disappeared. This was near the Ancient Nordic plateau. Any idea how to find her or any console commands to bring her back?

You have to find her RefID first. Either load up an old save where you do know where she is, or right from the main menu after you launch the game, open the console (~) and type "coc RiverwoodSleepingGiantInn". This assumes that she's at the Sleeping Giant Inn (there's more than one Triss Merigold mod, but the ones that I found start her there).

 

Next, open the console and click on Triss. This should show you her RefID (e.g. c1002306) in the middle of the screen. You can ignore the quotation mark. Write down the RefID. Load up your current save and do this:

1. Open the console.
2. Type: prid <RefID> (e.g. prid c1002306)
3. Type: moveto player

Sometimes you have to do the "moveto player" twice for some reason. If you're wondering where she went off to, you can use "player.moveto <RefID>" instead.
