puma35
I'm not sure if this is just me, but it really REALLY breaks immersion for me when I can literally MASTER a skill in less than a month (game time) (and that's with vanilla timescale). For example, say I want to start as a Dark Elf and use Destruction magic as my main means of attack, so my Destruction skill starts at 25 (a relatively novice level). By using Destruction to kill things for a couple of weeks (in game) and by appropriately buying some training levels for it, I could easily obtain a Destruction skill of 100 and have enough perk points to get whatever I want within that tree (this being on Master difficulty). So.... what... now I'm as good as I'm ever going to get at Destruction magic? IN A MONTH!? I find that very hard to believe. And what's worse is that I'm supposed to believe that my premature Destruction of 100 can out torch/freeze/zap an Arch level Warlock who has been studying magic for years. That's pretty weak. The same concept applies to other character archetypes as well. You can easily have a higher sneak than Delvin Mallory, a higher lockpick than Vex, and a higher pickpocket than Vipir, before you've completed the Thieves Guild questline. So, what I am suggesting, or requesting, is perhaps an expansion on each tree, taking off the level caps of 100 and making new perks/spells/swords/staffs/etc; to accommodate the higher levels. This would in turn, remove the vanilla level cap of 81. Another problem I can foresee, is that all the opponents would have to be revamped to have certain skills based on the new *MASTER* level, the new *EXPERT* level, and etc; What this could do, is make the game a lot more lifelike, really expand the depth of roleplaying, AND solve maybe eventually solve the whole level scaling disaster that is skyrim. This would be a huge overhaul for whoever wanted to do it..../rant
