RexSallazar
The Monster Hunter was born to a hunter family of Riverhold. Father was a veteran tracker who was usually helping travelers to get by and Mother had a shop with alchemic ingredients. The young kitten even since small watched his father training with a bow and was stunned how elegant his way of releasing the arrow was. Of course his mother also tried to teach him her ways and they both began the teachings of magic and alchemy, most amazing for the young khajiit was Enchanting and tried to focus on it as much as he could between his Bow trainings. When the Khajiit came of age his father took him for a hunt to the woods, they settled a camp near a small lake and decided to go for a hunt, after a unsuccesful hunt they went back to the camp only to find it ripped to shreds. Father recognized the claw marking belonged to a were-lion, immediately they both started running towards Riverhold only to hear hellish roar behind them, Father told his son to not look back and keep running only to stumble over a root, his father tried to get him out of there but there was no time, they could hear the heavy breaths of the beast coming closer and closer, at last father was able to set free his sons foot but it was too late,in the forests darkness they could see two shining eyes of the beast, so father did the only thing he could, he grabbed a torch a started running the opposite direction to lure the beast away as his son grabbed his fathers bow and kept running toward riverhold. Exhausted he was able to run to the gates of riverhold only to hear a dying scream of his father, but before he could run to try to save him, his mother grabbed him and with all her will and strengh pull the hunter back to the house. Ever since that day the Hunter promised that he will hunt down the beast and bring back its head as a trophy. For next months the khajiit was sharpening his skills as a hunter. One faithfull night he two guards talking that they heard a beastial roar from the forest so the hunter grabed his fathers bow and ventured fully equiped into to forest after sundown to hunt down the beast. After a whole night of searching he find the were-lion in its lair feasting on a fresh kill. The hunted calmly draw an arrow from its quiver and silently pulled the bow and aimed with a fierce precision on the head of the beast and the released the arrow. The hunter started to cry as he saw the arrow burried deep in the beasts head only whispering “that is for you father” , he returned back to RiverHold triumfant with the head of a were-lion in a sack behind its back. As he returned home he finally knew what being a true hunter means, so he kept searching for more and more challenging hunts. One day he returned home only to find his mother dead in her bed with bottles of skooma all over the floor and a small note where she apologized but she just couldnt keep going without her husband. With great sorrow he did the traditional funeral for her and kept a small vial of her mane as a reminder. After few days he spent at the marketplace selling his spoils he overheard 2 nords talking about a legend of the werebears in Soltheim, with no hesitation the hunter packed all his belongings and ventured towards Skyrim from where he would get to Soltheim. After a long journey the hunter decided to camp outside the town of Helgen only to witness a giant flying beast with shining dark scales fly over his head towards the hills, his thought were obsessed with on thing only , find that creature and slay it. thank you for reading my first story, feel free to leave a comment what you liked and what you did not.
