Lagruej
Hey everybody, I'm looking for some help with making a mod. I have done this in the past, so I have no idea why I'm having this problem. To start off, I never use custom meshes as meshing just isn't something I'm good at - I only use the ones I extracted with BSA from the game itself. This has typically worked fine, as I've made 100s of weapons variants and got them in the game without any issues. I'm trying to make a DLC centered around an Aetherium asteroid that landed in Skyrim, and so I got to work creating a nice texture and normal map for the meteorite. I decided to use the CaveIRockL01.nif, as it suited my needs just fine. So as I would always do, I renamed the .nif and popped it in the proper mesh folder for my mods, then I put my textures in the appropriate folders for my mod's textures. Opened the mesh in NifSkope and merely changed the textures out to be mine, looked perfect.Problem is, I tried to create a new Static Form in the CK, using the Mesh I had edited - and it just shows up in the Model Data as a big red exclamation point. Underneath it says Marker_Error:0.I figured maybe it was just a bug, so I tried to place it in the worldspace - Red Exclamation. I then took to the internet to try and solve the source of this error code - however 100% of the threads I found on the matter were all related to people who made custom meshes, which I did not do - all I did was copy one that Bethesda already had in-game. Any help would be nice, I will upload my mesh and texture if really needed. Edited December 16, 2017 by Lagruej
Evangela
I think you need to add the path to the model. So where you see Model, click edit and add the path to the mesh. Make sure the path is correct. Example: Weapons\BladeofWoe\1stPersonBladeofWoe.nif Edited December 16, 2017 by Rasikko
