Import facial data to apply to another NPC?

I am working on a small follower mod for someone, and I need to transfer their player characters face to the follower. How can this be done? Basically I would need them to somehow be able to export their player characters facial features to be used on the follower? Is this even possible?

I remember something similar being possible in the geck where you could copy and paste facial features but I do not see that option anywhere in the creation kit and it would not do me much good without the facial features anyway.

Is it possible they could just figure out what settings the sliders are and send me those?

Is there a console command to save player characters facial data to a file? If so what is it and how do i apply that to the NPC?

I asked exactly the same thing yesterday and didn't get an answer, so I have a feeling the answer is probably no. That said, here's what I did to work around it:

* Loaded my save file

* Used 'showracemenu' in the console to see my character's sliders.

* Made note of where they were on a piece of paper (in my case this was easy because most of the sliders for this character were in the center)

* For things like eyes, eyebrows, and complexion, you can count how many steps from the left or right your selection is.

* Used the Creation Kit and duplicated the sliders manually. I wrote my notes on paper, but you can probably run the CK at the same time as you're running Skyrim.

This is of course mostly guesswork, as opposed to being a real solution. My own issue is fixed here, but I'd love to see a way to do this for real. Seems like obvious functionality for the NPC appearance editor. :)

yeah this is what I suggested the person do, I don't want to make them do it because it is tedious work and not fun ( I have done it myself ). Anyways thanks for the input. Heres to hoping someone with more experience than us has advice.

if you go into the game and get your guy looking how you want, you can type in savepcface name and it will save a name.npc file you can import into the CK.

it works but it crashed the ck when i clicked ok.

i had to remember where the sliders were, move them my self and then click ok.
