dispenseri
Clicking on MCM options that provide me with a menu list of choices (such as the general XP gain % of PN, or all Dynavision options) do not work for me; all the options are unresponsive and do not apply when clicked, and force me to close MCM by pressing ESC.Options that are adjusted by a slider, a checkbox, or whatever else seem to work OK.Please help! My XP gain % is at a way too low setting for me to be able to continue my current save! Edited December 18, 2017 by dispenseri
dubiousintent
Please read the "HUD-UI-Menu issue" article. That should explain your issue. -Dubious-

dispenseri
I read through it but couldn't comprehend what exactly do I need to do to fix my problem, anyone kind enough to help a dum-dum the likes of me with step-by-step advice? dubiousintent
As explained in that article, problems with MCM (and similar HUD-UI-Menu issues) are due to the sequence in which you installed the mods, which overwrote XML files used by other mods. So no one else can give you a step-by-step solution other than the sequence of those plugins identified in that article, as they don't know which you installed in which order. But it doesn't cover every possible mod conflict, because there are too many. So, to give you any further help we would need at least ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article, to include the NVSE plugins you have installed. But in the end all that will do is let us identify mods which are known to be required by or modify HUD-UI-Menu files; and still nothing about the "install order". -Dubious-

dubiousintent
Not seeing any obvious problems with your "load order", but I am not familiar with all of those mods. You do definitely need to use a "Merge Patch File". Please see the 'Third Rule: The Rule of One' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section and the 'Merge Patch File' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article in that regard.Initially your problem was that you were not getting responses from MCM selections.* Did you "just by chance" happen to originally install the HUD_UI_Menu (HUM) mods in the correct order, or are you still having the exact same problem after re-installing in the correct sequence? (If different now, how so?)* Are you getting any "warnings" or "error" messages once you load a game regarding MCM or other HUM mods?* Do the rest of your HUM plugin effects work correctly? (E.g. no problems with the Pipboy, or any of it's menus, or the HUD?)To focus our efforts, you seemed most concerned by the XP gain percentage of PN. This is part of the MCM "PN Rebalance" settings, under "Character | Leveling". When you click anywhere in the line "Experience Gain ... ##%" you should get a pop-up list of various percentages to choose from in the center of that screen.* Are you able to select the "PN Rebalance" display?* Are you getting the pop-up list?* Does the percentage you chose change color to indicate it is selected? (This will close the pop-up list display.)* Does the line "Experience Gain ... ##%" now show the chosen percentage?* Do you have any other indications that the changed "Gain Percentage" is not working now? You don't need to respond to each of the above questions directly; just those that are still an issue. They are there to help ensure you consider all those points. -Dubious- Edited December 20, 2017 by dubiousintent

Like I wrote in the OP, MCM options that are adjusted by anything else than a pop-up list, like a slider or a checkbox work perfectly. dubiousintent
I haven't tried re-installing anything yet, as I still don't exactly know in what order to do it.That is the whole point. You have to install the HUM plugins in the order laid out in the "HUD_UI_Menu Issues" article. Without re-installing those mods, you aren't going to see any difference. In your case that install order is: MTUI (your "base UI"), Project Nevada, PN Extra Options, MCM, MCM BugFix 2, UIO, oHUD. (Re-read the HUM article section on MCM as you may need to edit the PN XML files if you get a warning message.) Other mods sequence is less important regarding the HUM issue, but I've always found the TESCOSI "General Order for installing Mods" guide structure to work well across games. -Dubious-

The same issue persists however.
