This happened to me years ago.

 

NPCs uses lots of vram. If you have 2gbs or less you can have problems if you use mods that add NPCs.

Using the SKSE memory patch & EMB/ENBoost can help.

 

A corrupt, glitching NPC can cause this as well. For this one all you can do it wait 3 days before trying to enter again.

I ended up doing the waiting thing and it worked, the problem Las likely the 2 Sven NPCs in the inn
