Telekinesis activates levers

I use a deadly traps mod and I'm roleplaying a mage thief character that won't do anything too unrealstic and dangerous. The swinging blades traps always have a lever on the other side that needs to be pressed to deacivate them and that means running through the trap to the other side and possibly being killed 10-20 times. This is something I don't want to do with the character.

I thought Telekinesis would allow me to activate the switch so I went to the mage college and trained until i had the spell but it seems something that simple was beyond the ideas of the developers and telekinesis does not work on trap switches.

I have tried searching for a mod that does this but no luck. Is this something that can be done with a mod?

Probably could be done, and i to always thought it was silly you could not use it to move levers. On the other hand, i think they did not do it because of the way they used the Dwemer lift exits, they all have a lever to open the gates from the inside. Otherwise you would be able to skip the entire dungeon which is what i would do after exploring one Dwemer dungeon and finding out that those solitary Dwemer lift buildings get you close to where you need to be :-) Simply tear down those gates and use the lift to get close to where you need to be instead of going the long way round :-)

Same for those barred doors in crypts, i highly doubt anyone with an axe would have any problems smashinh those doors lol. Well let's just say it's stupid to try and apply logic to games lol

open dwemer lifts is useful too for characters that dont do the main quest ( role play ) to have an alternative way to enter blackreach.

speaking about balance after 7 years playing skyrim we know all about dungeons so skip them is not a great problem, smashing a door in nordic ruins is not so balanced but is realistic, so it could be a good idea and like i said before balance is not so important now.
