DirTek
As I posted in the other thread too...read my tutorial: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry463823 Also the texturin path for those items is : TEXTURES\ARMOR or WEAPONS or CLUTTER etc...not DESKTOP :P So you need to copy the textures to Oblivion\Data\ folder. Cheers  Maafiaman
univega
Hi, hope I'm not in the wrong place for this question, if so please steer me where I need to be. My problem is that I have created using the createfullactorcopy command several companions based off of my player character. I realized recently that all unique quest items are being duplicated and can't be gotten rid off (blade of woe, light of dawn, etc.) and that they have spells that I don't want them to have. Not a problem if they are magic based, I can unlearn spells to scrolls and sort out what I want the companion to have (should have mentioned that I use Companion Share and Recruit and main companion mod) but many of these companions don't have that option and I find it inconvenient when they are all casting Jephre's tigers at the same time (also use OOO 1.33 which is an awesome mod. So, my question is two-fold, first can someone point me to a simple tutorial or utility program for editting companions to eliminate unwanted items, spells etc? Second, can I be pointed to a utility or tutorial on making custom companions (particularly for CSR) from scratch?? Lately I have ran into new races (Lattamer, Ice Elves etc.) that I would like to make companions out of but the only way I have of doing that now is changing my main character to what I want to create, and making a copy of that character. Thanks in advancc for any help or advice!
LoginToDownload
Quote So you need to copy the textures to Oblivion\Data\ folder.Or you can just change the texture paths and not save... That's usually what I do when just looking. I don't know much about dealing with actor copies, but for creating companions out of custom races you could take a look at the De-Isolation Tutorial on the CSWiki.
