entropiachrome
Hi all, I'm working on adjusting some navmesh on the exterior cell of a mod I've been working on. I've looked over the Bethesda tutorial and navmesh overview, and one thing I can't seem to clearly understand is if the navmesh (as done by hand on an exterior cell) should lie on top of or just underneath the surface. In the exterior cell I'm working on, there is quite a bit of the existing vanilla navmesh that was lting quite a ways below the surface plane, while some other areas had it directly on top of the surface plane. Any ideas on how I should procede to make sure I do this correctly? Thanks!
marthgun
from what I saw it didn't matter if it was slightly raised above the ground or slightly below the ground, as its just an area for npc's to walk, i dont think they'll start to fly above ground or go underground if it isn't exact but idk for sure
