No more long load screens. Why?

I have been plagued with long load screens of varied lengths since the game came out. So far the only thing that seemed to help was setting 141 fps limit for the game. Gsync monitor. Got it down from infuriating to not horrible. On this playthrough load screen times are a second or two. I just installed 358.91 drivers for my 980TI because of a forum recommendation I read. This was an allover recommendation, not specific. If this is what helped I guess there is a first time for everything. 77 active mods, 55 plugins.

idk anything about the gpu drivers you installed, so i can't say anything about how that would help, but it could also be related to several other things. are you using a hard drive or SSD? same storage drive as your previous playthroughs? Seems SSDs are the preferred way to go to keep everything running fast/smooth but i haven't really had any load time issues with fo4 and 230-some mods on my WD Black 1tb HDD

how many mods did you use in your previous playthroughs (generally speaking)? it will also depend on the type of mods you've used previously vs the ones you're using now and how resource intensive they are. i can't imagine running a ton of texture overhauls with loose files helping in any way. ba2 files are read/loaded faster than loose files, so using fewer mods with loose file would improve load times as well.

also depends on the length of your current game, like hours played, compared to previous playthroughs. the longer you play on a character, the more information gets stored in those saves, so load times will get longer the more you play, with or without mods.

the new drivers you downloaded definitely may have helped improve load times, especially if it's been a very long time since you had last installed the previous ones, but as i said earlier, i couldn't tell you for sure.

This is a restart. I use the bunker in Sanctuary to test load times. I've probably restarted 20 or 30 times. Mods are usually basically the same. I don't play on a potato so my mod load doesn't affect me much. I get anywhere from 60 to 100 fps outside depending on shadows. They affect me the most. The only problem I have with the game is if I stay in build mode too long I get stutters, really bad stutters. Saving, stopping and restarting fixes the stutters. I have been restarting with different mod loads, no mod loads except the Unofficial Patch, and I have never been able to eliminate the long load screens entirely til now. 2560 by 1440. On ssd.

I am running nearly 220 mods, and sometimes my loading screens can be long. but I think it's not the mods, rather the length of time. Of course I am running the game on a 750 ti myself.
