WraithDecember
Ever feel like the Dragons weren't portrayed as the ultimate death machines in game as they were described to be? Ever think that there were not enough war scars and casualties of the Dragons rage upon Skyrim? Then I have a humble suggestion...I would suggest that to remedy this there could be several villages or remote outposts that would be decimated with burned corpses littered about as a dragon roosts in the ruins. The attack on Helgen was a great example of their power but we don't seen anything later on in vanilla which is on par with that level of destruction. These additions could rectify that and add to the feeling that the dragons are a true menace with enough raw power to end civilization as we know it. Also there could be the addition of new NPCs in the Holds who are refugees or surviving militia from those settlements who could point it out on the map, instead of a few lone refugees on the road that I think were in the vanilla. Seeing multiple scenes or aftermath of destruction with high casualties would add to the fear and awesomeness of the dragons.Refugees who have fled the dragons could be added into the Holds, maybe even being refused entry at Riften and forming a refugee camp outside the gates. They could, if someone wanted to, have quests tied to them for example if they had left something behind in a village that was attacked, or if they fear for an abandoned loved one, perhaps an elder or a child (or a pet mudcrab? just kidding), who was left behind in the confusion, and so you could go back to the village destroyed by the dragon and look for the loved one who might be hiding or find their abandoned heirloom (could incorperate a twist with either so its not just a simple fetch quest.).If there is already a mod that does something similar to this, I appreciate it if could someone point it out in response. If anyone who is adept at using the modding tools thinks this would be worthy of doing I'd be greatly pleased. I just started doing another play through as I have time for gaming now and may try to figure out how to mod on my own but I've never gotten past simply altering characters in G.E.C.K. in F3 and the times I tried to alter the terrain I couldn't figure out how to make buildings level with the ground, and didn't understand pathing so I'm not sure something like this would be in my capabilities for quite some time or ever. Thanks for reading this anyway, first time I've posted here. peace out.
