Celtcry
Hi, I am using latest 296.10 Nvidia driver on my XPS L502x i7 2640m, GT 540m and the ambient occlusion effect just disapeared after installing the latest Skyrim patch. I revert to the previous one, 1.4.27 I think, and the AO returns. Any insight on this one? The game just seems less enjoyable without it.
Trylok
Same problem here. Ambient occlusion gone after 1.5 patch. The new grass shadows are not drawn also.To temporarly fix this, you have to use the nvidiainspector and set "Ambient Occlusion compatibility" to "fallout 3" Profile.Seems to be a driver issue. Celtcry
Thanks Tryloc. It worked just fine... exept now the game is very unstable since the update (CTDs and ramdom freeze grrrrrrr!!). Will try to drefrag, reinstall it and re-drefrag and see if it is more stable.
