Deleted1205226User
This is a texture problem. You have Normal maps showing instead of Diffuse maps. See if you have installed textures replacement correctlyIf you have textures replacement, it might not involve plugin.
Ryuukage0101
the only ones I have installed is NMCs (light version) and MGs Neat Clutter Retextures.I remember I used FNVLODGen , however I just saw that the author of the mod said " FNVLODGen is not compatible with texture packs by default". EDIT! I fixed the problem by removing the "FNVLODGen pluggin " from FNV DATA folder.this thread can be removed now :D Edited December 26, 2017 by Ryuukage0101
dubiousintent
Excuse me, but which mod author said: " FNVLODGen is not compatible with texture packs by default"? First time I've heard that statement, though it does need qualifiers in any case. FNVLODGen is only for VWD/LOD textures, not those in the near to middle ground (like clutter objects). "MGs Neat Clutter Retextures" (at least those pictured in the images on that download page) are all "objects" that FNVLODGen won't touch."NMCs_Texture_Pack_For_New_Vegas" is indeed compatible with FNVLODGen. I've used it to combine both NMC and Ojo Bueno packs. Though I do recall creating a batch file in order to use ensure certain settings were used for my choice of texture options. I wouldn't call that a "compatibility issue", however. Just looking for some clarification in case conventional wisdom needs to be updated. -Dubious-
Ryuukage0101
Zilav is the name of the mod author. who said "FNVLODGen is not compatible with texture packs by default." - 29 May 2015, 9:08PM I myself as very little knowlage about the G.E.C.K so I dont know if that statement is true or not. ask him if he still is around? dubiousintent
Thanks. Just as an FYI: Zilav is the author of xEdit/FNVEdit/FNVLODGen among other tools. So he is as authoritative as you get and definitely knows his stuff across the innards of various Bethesda games. Time to do some digging and further my education. Appreciate the feedback. -Dubious-
