Mr. Shy-and-Consistent
as in: In Morrowind (I know this is supposed to be OT, but this is just for an example) when you walk around nude and Male High Elves are like "Oooh, spare me!"
Breton Thief Oriana
it means to keep them from it. like if some guy was at the mercy of muggers and said "please! take my cash, but spare my life!" and if they spare you you are still alive. is this a real question  ? Mr. Shy-and-Consistent
well I would like to say no in an attempt to make an excuse for also asking: How does one earn people skills in the real world? But in truth yes it is a real question
Eltiraaz
I would assume much the same way as in Morrowind, being friendly, but also demanding when you need to be. A balance of sorts. Persuasive. These are just random shots in the dark. Just being overall likeable.
Malchik
Be honest without being brutal, be honourable without being a bigot, be reliable but not a doormat, be tolerant without being patronising, be supportive but also seek support, offer help wherever you can. Learn a few basic life skills in self-understanding, assertion and communication. Hmm - might take a while!
Mr. Shy-and-Consistent
actually to be more specific, my problem is that I lack tolerance in being around certain people and 'making a difference' without feeling under alot of stress. For me, every situation that requires me to initiate conversation or say or ask something out of the ordinary to anyone is the equivilant of a typically social teen trying to get a first date. Breton Thief Oriana
I was like that. grew out of it just by having an aditude that was like "hey, cool, whatever, its all good". and it helped. now i dont care what people think about me personally. but there are also people who are just a**holes, that no one can stand, like the ones that are constantly ripping on just this one dude for no reason. EDIT: wow. i just realized that you are older than me by almost two years. its time to grow, man! honestly.
