AriaDragonfly
Any other resolution (my preferred being 2k because that's what my projector is) causes a failed to initialize renderer. I've been researching this issue for days and I'm coming up with nothing. I've tried changing it manually in the profiles, tried making a new profile, made sure the ini in my documents was set the same just in case that mattered, tried changing it through the skyrim launcher launched through mod organizer. I'm sure it's some silly thing I've overlooked but so far I've had no luck. The game itself runs fine with 250+ mods I just can't read the shift+enter ENB to fiddle with it. (and it feels like a waste to run 4k on a 2k monitor) Not the direst of concerns since it does run. But I'd really prefer to run it in 2k. Any insights? Oh also never had this issue before, been modding skyrim for years, will usually delete it between play throughs for space saving and I find modding and remodding relaxing so I don't mind doing it over again. This was a fresh install, the last one being pre-fall creators update. So that's the biggest difference between now and last time. I wanted to see the impact of the Vram.
Grospolina
First, make sure your video drivers are up to date. Second, you could try resetting your INI files:Delete (and back up) your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in Documents\My Games\Skyrim.If you're using ENB, disable it temporarily by renaming d3d9.dll to d3d9.OFF.dll.Run the Skyrim Launcher outside of MO. This will generate new INI files.Back up your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in Mod Organizer\profiles\<profilename> OR make a copy of your profile and use that.Copy the new INI files from Documents\My Games\Skyrim to your profile.Rename d3d9.OFF.dll back to d3d9.dll.I also recommend using BethINI to optimize and manage your INIs.
