mhahn123
I feel really stupid having to ask this.... :whistling: .....but I'm just starting to play with script creation in the CS. When writing a script in the CS, how do I get my keyboard to type the "logical OR" symbol (II). I thought it was just capitol i but that gave me an error message when I tried to compile. I've found plenty of tutorials that do a great job of explaining things...but this one tiny detail is impossible to find info on. DrakeTheDragon
It's definitely not a capital "i". It is an own character which on different keyboard layouts is found in different places. My German keyboard has it left of the "Y", by pressing <alt gr> + "<".On a Mac keyboard I need to press <alt> + "7" to get it.Can't really tell where exactly it's hidden on a US keyboard, but it shouldn't be hard to find. Maybe somewhere close to the "enter" or "r-shift" keys?

Maybe somewhere close to the "enter" or "r-shift" keys? On a standard English QWERTY Keyboard the | symbol is found right below the Backspace, sharing the same key as the backslash \. So Shift+\ = |
mhahn123
Thanks Nephenee, I never would have gotten that without trying 1000 key combos. Much appreciated.
