reinstalled windows, NMM can't find my mods anymore

Hello,

my computer crashed a couple of times, so I had to reinstall windows and therefore all my games.

Problem is, I didnt do a NMM backup, only saved all my folders on an extra hard drive.

I still have a folder called "Nexus Mod Manager" full of '.zip's and '.7z' s of all the mods I had installed.

The Mod Manager can't find/doesnt recognize them though.

Is there a way to let NMM reinstall all my mods using that folder?

I really hope there's a way to still save my game...

Thanks in advance!

Is all this NMM stuff on your C:\ drive (usually default) or your external drive? See if there is an .ini file for NMM and direct it to look on the proper drive for the mod files. Or just transfer all your mod files to your C:\ drive. Yes, I know it's a daunting task to transfer all those mods, but you may have to to get NMM to recognize them. That's all I can think of at this point.

thanks for answering so quickly!

I got a hard drive specifically for games so that where I installed NMM and the steam games.

I tried copying the files into the new NMM folder and changed the mod directory but now it tells me "<mod name>.zip cannot be found".

Looks like I'm gonna have to download and reinstall all those mods and pray that the manager will put them together the right way again
